Serving with Compassion, Sharing God’s Love

Welcome to Good samaritan

Good Samaritan Ministries is a compassionate outreach program of St.John’s C.O.U Kawuku dedicated to serving neighbors in need with dignity, respect, and practical support. Rooted in the timeless parable of the Good Samaritan, our ministry mobilizes faith and action to alleviate hunger, shelter insecurity, and hardship, while fostering hope, community, and sustainable well-being.

Our community outreach extends to schools, hospitals, the elderly, children, expecting mothers and above all bring hope through prayer and the word of God.

Our Mission

To demonstrate the love of Christ by caring for the vulnerable, supporting those in need, and bringing hope and practical assistance to individuals and families within our Church and community.

Our Vision

To build a compassionate and caring Christian community where no one feels forgotten, neglected, or alone.

Message from chairperson Good Samaritan

Mrs. Diana Kiguba Akiteng

I greet you with a heart full of gratitude for the incredible work we are doing together through the Good Samaritan Ministry.

Our Mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ by caring for the vulnerable, supporting those in need, and bringing hope and practical assistance to individuals and families within our Church and community.. This is a true reflection of Christ’s love and compassion. I am deeply humbled and inspired by the generosity, kindness, and dedication each of you brings to this important ministry.

Proverbs 19:17
” He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given”  Through our efforts—whether it’s feeding the hungry, helping the homeless, visiting the sick, or simply offering a listening ear—we are living out the gospel in powerful and tangible ways. 🙏🏻
